Out
Out-
It would not be good if there was a black out. A typical day in my opinion requires lots of electricity. Like this- I get up in the morning and try to turn the light on. But when I get up it is freezing cold! I reach to turn the light on but it does not work. Shivering I walk down the hall to were the heater is. The screen is blank. I go to turn the kettle on for some tea. That doesn’t work either! I run around the house trying to make all the electrical stuff work but it doesn’t. Then I realized that it must be a black out! I woke up my mum and told her the condition. She wasn’t surprised. For breakfast it’s warm yogurt and cereal without milk because the fridge isn’t working either. Later on it luckily turned into a hot sunny day so we didn’t have to worry about heat or light being cold and dark. But after a few hours it becametoo hot and bright. Now I begin to wish that we had air-conditioning. Phew! The day passes and I am hot and tired. I go to bed longing for a shower for my sweaty body. How I would hate to have a day without electricity!

Fernie- In my opinion, the greatest town in the world! Wait, no, the greatest town in the whole universe! I used to live in England, but after my parents divorced I moved to Canada. We moved through 2 lodges, and 3 houses before we found the perfect house down in the Airport. ( We really don’t live on an airplane, it’s just a name in Fernie! ) Our town is famous for the great Fernie Fire, and most of the town was burned down and many died and were left homeless, not to mention over 100 people seriously injured. I t was horrible. I ‘m really glad I wasn’t there when it happened! I can’t wait for it to start snowing, so I can go skiing and there won’t be any chances of the Fernie Fire number 2! See ya later…
